Making money through affiliate marketing is one of my favorite ways to bring in income, while helping people solve problems in their lives in a real, tangible way. I am also an avid crafter, even though that isn’t the focus of my business.

One of the questions I get a lot from my students is that they really love doing DIY projects, but they’re sure there’s no money to be made sharing about “that kind of thing” unless you want to have an Etsy store.

I asked some students and girl friends who are making good money with affiliate marketing in the DIY genre, and these were the most consistent affiliate programs that were recommended to me. I personally have the most experience with Craftsy

P.S. If you’re a DIYer and have an affiliate program you love to make money with, please share it in the comments. I would love to hear from you and make this list even bigger!

Little Passports

Little Passports is a monthly subscription which sends them a box with crafts each month. This program is great if you’re looking to diversify into parenting, education (including homeschooling!) or DIY affiliate promotions.

Darn Good Yarn

I actually found the Darn Good Yarn program after I saw their amazing adorable skirts in a Facebook ad and bought from them as a consumer. On their website, I found all kinds of lovely products that would be perfect for the DIY crowd.

They have yarn, project kits, and all kinds of things for (you guessed it!) yarn crafts! I love their program!
